Robert Bell, Distinguished Professor of the Practice in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, recently published a policy brief with the Free University of Brussels. The memo, titled “NATO Nuclear-Sharing: Options for the New German Coalition,” discusses how Germany’s new governing coalition could affect its contributions to NATO’s theatre nuclear posture. In it, Bell outlines four possible decisions the Germans might make as they re-evaluate their position in the nuclear sharing program.
