Vagisha Srivastava, a Ph.D. student in the School of Public Policy who does research in cybersecurity, was recently awarded the RSA Scholar Fellowship. The fellowship recognizes Srivastava as one of 80 up-and-coming cybersecurity students from across the country. She’s one of two RSA Scholars affiliated with Georgia Tech’s School of Cybersecurity and Privacy; Yibin Yang, a Ph.D. student in the College of Computing, is the other.
As part of the award, Srivastava and Yang will attend the RSA Security Conference in San Francisco next February. There, attendees will gather to discuss best ways to stay ahead of cyberthreats.
