There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Georgia Institute of Technology and Novelis Inc., an aluminum rolling and recycling company based in Atlanta, have announced that Shreyes Melkote will serve as the new executive director of the Novelis Innovation Hub at Georgia Tech. Julia Kubanek, vice president for interdisciplinary research at Georgia Tech, says Melkote is well-positioned to help Novelis broaden its relationship with faculty and students while engaging in key research areas to accelerate Novelis’s product innovation.
