There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. We’ll focus on removing invasive species carefully from this high-value forest. We’ll show how to recognize these high-value forest areas, and we’ll end with a short walk to a beautiful section of Proctor Creek. We’ll walk approximately .5 – 1 miles on natural trails along with some off-trail locations. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, and work gloves are recommended. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, some bug spray, and then a pair of work gloves if you have them.
We will meet at 2 pm at the CULC turnabout and leave at 2:10 pm (near the statue). We will back be 5:15 pm. COVID Policy - We ask that you bring a mask with you for the ride over as well as in case it is required by our host.
