Abstract of Talk: Representatives from the Aerospace Corporation will talk about the organization and the exciting work we do as an FFRDC (Federally Funded Research and Development Center). Find out what opportunities we have for you to “Take your place in Space” with the Aerospace Corporation.
Biographical Sketches of the Speakers:
Evan Glick – Evan Glick is the Director of the Cyber Defense Solutions Department at The Aerospace Corporation. He is responsible for overseeing a variety of prototype and development work related to Defensive Cyber Operations, Spacecraft Security, Hardware Security & Specialty Engineering, as well as Cloud Security & DevSecOps.
Previously Mr. Glick served as a member of the technical staff, as a project leader, as well as other management related roles.
Prior to joining Aerospace, Mr. Glick worked in industry at a variety of companies including C.A.C.I-Systemware, Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
Mr. Glick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University Channel Islands, and a variety of certifications related to cyber security
Michael Roberts – Michael Roberts is the engineering-manager of the Cloud and Software Assurance section at The Aerospace Corporation. He is responsible for overseeing a wide range of projects geared towards guiding the government in the secure adoption of cloud technologies, as well as the oversight and development of a team of security engineers.
Previously, Mr. Roberts served as a member of the technical staff at the Aerospace Corporation, responsible for the development of space-focused security prototypes and research.
Mr. Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Morehouse College, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science (with a specialization in Cyber Security) from Georgia Tech.
