Teaching for All through Universal Design for Learning

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Students bring a variety of cognitive differences with them to our classrooms. This workshop will introduce the Universal Design for Learning framework that helps instructors design courses and learning environments that increase access to learning for all students. With the UDL framework, participants will be able to create new ways to represent material and increase the variety of student engagement and expression in their courses.
