This year's program will feature a keynote presentation from John Boslego at PATH and scientific presentations from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Emory University, Georgia Health Sciences University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Morehouse School of Medicine and the University of Georgia.

This event is intended for researchers from Georgia universities and the CDC.  There is no charge to attend, but advance registration and security clearance are required.  Registration information must be received by April 6, 2011.

The scientific focus of this symposium is R&D in vaccines, immune therapies, diagnostics and delivery systems for the treatment and prevention of infectious and non-infectious diseases/conditions.  This year’s hot topics include Innate Immunity; Inflammation and Infection; and Systems Vaccinology.
