Abstract: The Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium (MTEC) is a non-profit biomedical technology consortium collaborating under an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) with the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRDC). MTEC’s mission is to accelerate the development of revolutionary medical solutions for military medicine applications to better protect our Warfighters. MTEC puts out a variety of funding opportunities throughout the year in the form of Requests for Project Proposals that span a range of topics from combat casualty care, military infectious diseases, operational medicine, and medical simulation & information sciences. Member organizations are able to compete and potentially receive awards. Other key benefits to membership include networking opportunities as well as greater visibility into government needs and priorities. This presentation will discuss an overview of MTEC, primary technology focus areas, the solicitation process, and member benefits, as well as an open Q&A session.
