With data protection and cybersecurity in mind, the University System of Georgia requires cybersecurity training on a biannual basis for all employees. Georgia Tech has launched its Fall Cybersecurity Training. All employees are expected to complete this training by Friday, September 24.
Regularly occurring cybersecurity awareness training ensures that faculty, staff, and student employees are vigilant, prepared, and empowered to identify cyber threats or scams when they encounter them. Training also encourages employees to adopt practices that safeguard their information and technology from ransomware attacks and compromise.
Georgia Tech’s cybersecurity training covers a variety of topics such as cybersecurity policies, data protection categorizations, sharing protected data, and endpoint protection.
