The Writing & Communication Program invites you to its second Communication Colloquium, featuring lectures by Jo Anne Harris and Paulette Richards.
Jo Anne Harris received her Ph.D. from the University of Puerto Rico. Her research interests include developing digital representations of literary artifacts of and about the early Caribbean (1600-1800) and determining how digital media and its rhetoric impact global affairs. Presentation Title: “Virtual Borders and Converging Cultures: A Digital Conundrum"
Paulette Richards holds an MA and Ph.D. in French Civilization from the University of Virginia, and a Certificate in Multimedia Production from GA Tech. Digital video as technical discourse is her primary research interest. Presentation Title: “In the Best Possible Light: Applied Research on Producing Digital Video as Technical Discourse”
