There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. In today's society, energy, policy, and economics are inextricably intertwined. Understanding the tradeoffs between energy use, its effect on economic prosperity, and the policy regulatory environment are key to developing a long-term, integrated strategy to meet our future energy needs. Georgia Tech researchers utilize empirical, theoretical and statistical modeling approaches to explore the impact of policy decisions on the energy market, consumer behavior, and environmental concerns and to design new models for a low carbon energy future.
