Marilyn Brown, Georgia Tech Regents Professor and Strategic Energy Institute affiliated faculty, is sharing her knowledge and experience by mentoring the leadership team of the Greenlink Group. The company, led by founder and CEO Matt Cox and chief technology officer Xiaojing Sun (both Georgia Tech graduates), is an energy policy consulting firm.
The Greenlink Group was founded in 2015 as the result of Cox winning $10,000 in a poster competition at the 2014 Clean Energy Education & Empowerment Awards. It has since been involved in numerous other projects across the Southeast. Now, it is helping lead the city of Atlanta’s ambitious effort to convert to 100% clean energy for municipal operations by 2025, and for all energy users by 2035
