Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editing tool commonly used by graphic designers.

In this beginning, 90-minute workshop we will familiarize you with the interface and introduce you to handy features and tools within the package as we create basic shapes, logos and text effects.

We will discuss how you can utilize Adobe Illustrator to create graphics for integration into web-based tools such as Canva.

Exercises may include things like typing on a path, extrude and bevel, working with text, blending, scaling, adjusting gradients, live trace and experimenting with the shape builder tool. Illustrator is a must-have in your arsenal of software for professional-looking results.

Topics vary in workshops. A more detailed agenda of topics will be sent to the e-mail you provide, closer to the time.

These classes are open to all Georgia Tech-affiliated undergrads, grads, faculty and staff.

Workshops are usually held in the Georgia Tech Library, Crosland Tower, Room 2130 on the second floor.
