Three faculty members from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts will join the 2021-2022 cohort of the Emerging Leaders Program.
Justin Biddle, associate professor in the School of Public Policy; Jenna Jordan, associate professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs; and Usha Nair-Reichert, associate professor in the School of Economics, were selected with 13 other faculty members from Georgia Tech. They will participate in multiple leadership development activities throughout the nine-month program, such as workshops, small-group work, and a 360-degree assessment.
"I look forward to working with other participants in the program to advance a culture of ethical leadership at Georgia Tech, in which students, faculty, and staff not only aspire to improve the human condition, but do so self-consciously, respectfully, critically, and deliberatively," said Biddle.
Biddle joined the School of Public Policy in 2009, and Jordan joined the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs in 2012. Nair-Reichert is one of the longest-serving faculty members in the School of Economics and has been teaching there since 1995.
The Emerging Leaders Program is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost, the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research, the Institute for Leadership and Social Impact, and the Office of Graduate Education and Faculty Development.
Congratulations, Dr. Biddle, Dr. Jordan, and Dr. Nair-Reichert, on the well-deserved achievement!
