Mathematics Alumnus Jie Ma Awarded ICA Hall Medal

Jie Ma, School of Mathematics alumnus who earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Georgia Tech in 2011, is the most recent recipient of the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications (ICA) Hall Medal. Ma recieves the honor for "outstanding contributions in the fields of extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, and structural graph theor." ICS additionally notes that Ma is recognized for breakthroughs on a variety of "difficult, longstanding problems of structural and extremal flavour." Read more.
