There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Over the past year, the LGBTQIA Resource Center and Georgia Tech Lavender Alumni (GTLA) have collaborated on a Student Emergency Fund, specifically designated to meet the unique needs of LGBTQIA students. This fund will support our student community with mini-grants to cover unexpected expenses such as housing, food, or medical support.
The Center has launched a campaign for the fund June 15 - July 15. Its goal is to raise $10,000 or create an endowment to ensure a consistent availability of funding for the project.
