There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Earlier this spring, Atlanta Magazine polled young local leaders in a variety of fields and disciplines about the future of the city. Kim Cobb, Georgia Power Chair and Advance Professor in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and director of Georgia Tech's Global Change Program, says Atlanta has an opportunity to rise as a leader in climate justice. "I think we have not just a moral obligation but a once-in-a-generation opportunity to showcase what lasting solutions look like for climate," Cobb says.
