Are you looking to take the first step in getting published in a research journal? Craving a peer-reviewed, first-author publication?

The Tower undergraduate research journal is currently accepting submissions from ALL majors for its next issue! Papers are submitted on a rolling basis, but to be included in the next issue, please submit by Friday, April 1. Students may submit any of the following:

  • Articles: culmination of a research project
  • Synopsis articles: for work already published in a peer-reviewed journal
  • Perspectives: does not need experimental data, rather provides a viewpoint in the current progress of one's field, should elaborate on own efforts as well
  • Dispatches: similar to a communication or brevia, this format is a shorter research article for undergraduates earlier in their research project/career

Submissions will undergo a peer review process before being published, giving students a unique opportunity to participate in peer review during their undergraduate tenure. Students receive feedback not only on their research methodology, but also on their abilities to discuss, communicate and present their research narratives to a wide audience.

Get published as an undergrad, spruce up your resume and submit your research today! Submit online at gttower.org/submit. To read past issues of The Tower, visit gttower.org/read.

Visit gttower.org for detailed submission guidelines. The Tower is also always looking for more staff referees — for more information, visit gttower.org/staff.
