BEAM Panel: Hidden Struggles of the Model MinorityJoin us for an important conversation about racism, implicit and explicit bias, and the model minority myth experienced by Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who are members of the Coulter BME family.
BEAM has assembled a panel of professionals of East and Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander descent to discuss how they have dealt with racism in their personal and professional lives and to explore the concept of their privileges. They will share how they use their influence to uplift and support other historically excluded communities — and how we all can learn to lift each other up rather than pull each other down.
