Four faculty members from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) received top Georgia Tech awards that are usually presented as part of the Institute’s Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon. The luncheon is typically held every April.

Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Advisor Award – Omer Inan

Class of 1934 Outstanding Innovative Use of Educational Technology Award – Aaron Lanterman

Class of 1934 Outstanding Service Award – Andrew Peterson

Senior Faculty Outstanding Undergraduate Research Mentor Award – Ying Zhang

The celebration of these awards was done this year by posting the names of all Georgia Tech faculty and staff awards recipients online on April 16, 2021 at the Georgia Tech Special Events and Protocol website.

“We are very proud of Omer, Aaron, Andy, and Ying and of their achievements and contributions to Georgia Tech,” said Magnus Egerstedt, Steve W. Chaddick School Chair and ECE Professor. “We are grateful for everything that they do to make Georgia Tech and ECE better places to be.”
