Many of us have some fond childhood memories of the circus with fun entertainment and mystifying acts. But for some children in Brazil, the circus is something that has transformed their lives! Giving children and young adults direction, confidence, and a safe space to learn and grow in a community full of poverty and crime, Junior and Vinicius fought against all odds to set up "Crescer e Viver" in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. The Global Media Fest, Rise Up & Care and the Global Social Entrepreneurship VIP bring to you their inspiring story - Gira and the Circus of Life. Watch a live screening of the movie and join us for a roundtable with Vinicius (founder of Crescer e Viver) and Dr. Kirk Bowman (founder of Rise Up & Care and professor at Georgia Tech) for a Q&A about the film and the themes brought up during it.
