Abstract of Talk: An overview of Eaton corporation with emphasis on Electrical Engineering. IoT, electric vehicles and associated Industry trends. Various Electrical and Computer Engineering roles and their contribution to firm’s success.  Engineering skills that managers look for, when hiring new grads.

Biographical Sketch of the Speaker: Sai Murahari is an Engineering Manager at Eaton’s Wiring Devices business. Sai leads global engineering teams that specialize in new products development. These teams are in USA, China and India and specialize in designing safety, technology and IoT based wiring devices for residential and commercial markets. Sai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from India and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from SDSMT, South Dakota, USA. Prior to Eaton, Sai worked as Sr. Electrical Engineer at various organizations and launched products in commercial, industrial and military applications. Sai holds over 15 issued patents in USA and is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
