HTS major Emma Menardi will present her project, "Defining State Duties in Informed Consent Policies for Minors Seeking HIV Services," at the Collegiate Association for Inequality Research (CAIR) Undergraduate Conference on April 24th. For the project, Menardi examines whether state lawmakers have a duty to mitigate stigma as a barrier to care for adolescents living with or at risk for HIV and whether current informed consent policies meet that duty.
