Who We Are: The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community by engaging, educating and empowering our community. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, child care centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
Where You’ll Work: Education and Outreach Intern will work primarily with the Education and Outreach team within the Marketing and Public Affairs Department of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. This will be a hybrid position where most of the time is spent working remotely. There will be times where support out in the community is needed.
About the Role: The Education and Outreach Intern will enhance our ability to provide quality educational programming and provide support to the Food Bank’s education and outreach efforts, including our hunger education and our summer youth programming. The Education and Outreach Intern will interface with Hunger 101 constituents, youth participants, and other key Food Bank staff.
