What is the Georgia Tech Student Foundation?

Founded in 1986 with a $100,000 gift from alumnus J. Erskine Love, Jr., ME 49, GTSF fosters and promotes the spirit of philanthropy and the need to support Georgia Tech. Members encourage fellow students to continue the Georgia Tech tradition of giving back financially. All contributions are invested as part of the GTSF endowment, generating funds which are allocated back to other student organizations and initiatives. Student Foundation has allocated over $500,000 to over 270 student initiatives since its inception in 1986.
