There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. “That is troubling. That is a gap that I would like to see addressed with mechanisms that actually work." That's what Dian Chung, Director of Human Resources for the College of Sciences, told a WSB-TV reporter after learning that a University of Pittsburgh study found more vaccination sites in predominantly white areas of DeKalb and Fulton Counties than in predominantly African-American neighborhoods, even though the latter areas have higher Covid-19 infection rates. Chung also would like to see more diversity among researchers on television talking about vaccines and Covid-19.
