This VISTA position serves at Georgia Tech’s K-12 educational research and outreach center. Throughout their service year, the VISTA will have access to the world-class research, staff, and faculty at Georgia Tech, providing opportunities for professional development and networking with leaders in the fields of education and education reform. This is an opportunity for motivated, committed individuals who are passionate about making a difference and receiving beyond entry-level responsibilities. Because of this the candidate should have some background of volunteer service or education as well as the desire to take on responsibilities that will challenge themselves and make an impact on the Horizons Atlanta at Georgia Tech community. This is an AmeriCorps VISTA position and the individual will work directly with the Program Director of the Horizons program.
