Join MOVE's Sustainability Committee on Sunday, April 11, 3 - 4 p.m. for a virtual workshop on making beeswax wraps!
What are beeswax wraps, you might wonder? Made from organic cotton coated with beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resin, beeswax wrap is an alternative natural food wrap with antibacterial properties. Because of this, they reduce the need for plastic for food items.
The first 30 people who sign up for this workshop will receive a kit for making beeswax wraps, and pickup times will be from April 7 - 9 on Tech Green or the CULC (depending on weather, and more details will be communicated to attendees via email).
*Note, participants will need to have access to an oven for this workshop.
