There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

Georgia Tech does $1B+ in research expenditures every year and is one of the top research universities in the world. The research develops several world-class technologies from new machine learning algorithms to better batteries. For the first time ever, Georgia Tech is making its technologies available to students so that they can envision what amazing startups can be launched based on them.
The $1B+ Startup Hackathon will be a weekend event taking place virtually April 9-11, 2021, with winners announced on April 12th. Quick information about the hackathon:
The hackathon is open to all Georgia Tech students (both undergrad and grad) across all majors. Both technical and non-technical students are encouraged to participate, as the competition is more on the application of technology to launch a viable startup. Students will register individually and form teams during the hackathon.
Register today for the hackathon and view the list now of intellectual property available (which may be supplemented in the coming weeks). A link to the list will also be in the registration confirmation email.Contact rahulsaxena@gatech.edu with any questions you may have!
