This workshop will address the larger conversation of racial justice in America through examples of white privilege, common reactions when that privilege is challenged, and strategies to create a just world.

Yvette Upton, Ed.D., is a highly collaborative leader and educator with a passion for gender and racial equity in our world. She served as the founding director of the Georgia Tech Women’s Resource Center, and she is delighted to return to dialogue with Georgia Tech students and colleagues.
