Alice Clifton-Morekis, a PhD student in the School of History and Sociology, will publish her article "Front Line Fowl: Messenger Pigeons as Communications Technology in the U.S. Army" in the Spring 2021 issue of History and Technology.

This article builds on work Clifton-Morekis did for one of HSOC's graduate seminars, as well as her master's paper, using the archives at the Fort Gordon Signal Intelligence Museum.
