AGSCFive GSU faculty leading virtual exchange projects for large classes and their international partners were selected by Atlanta Global Studies Center and the GSU Office of International Initiatives to receive professional virtual exchange training. The five awardees have established international exchange partnerships with universities in Germany, Hong Kong, China, India, and Canada. This three-week training, which began on February 24th, focuses on the unique challenges and opportunities of utilizing virtual exchange in large classes (100+ students in Atlanta paired with international peers). Training topics include student orientation and engagement, classroom management and scenarios, and technology troubleshooting. We would like to congratulate the following faculty on their awards and wish them success on each of their innovative virtual exchange projects!
