The Georgia Tech Library and the Library Diversity Council invite you to join them for the second installment of the Cultivating Curiosity speaker series featuring Assistant Professor of Hip Hop Studies and Digital Media, Dr. Joycelyn Wilson.
The Cultivating Curiosity series provides a look into how curiosity is sparked and the actions that sustain it. Learn how researchers use their sense of wonder to find joy while fueling their research practice.
This semester Dr. Joycelyn Wilson gives viewers a glimpse into how she translated a love of Hip Hop music into a career in the field of Hip Hop Studies and the role that Hip Hop Studies can play at an institute of technology. Dr. Wilson is an Emmy-nominated docufilm producer and alumni fellow of the Harvard Hip Hop Archive, as well as an Assistant Professor of Hip Hop Studies and Digital Media in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at Georgia Tech.
