Take a stroll down supply and demand memory lane to examine who paid the tariffs the U.S. imposed on China with Professor Tibor Besedes. We’ll discuss using the supply and demand curves to perform an economic welfare analysis of the incidence of tariffs and examine what data tell us about it.

Time allowing, other trade policy musings include the Phase One trade deal with China, semiconductors and the U.S. trade war with China, and vaccine nationalism.
