Georgia Tech Society of Women Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the Georgia Tech Society of Black Engineers are proud to present a new collaborative event that features student voices to foster discussions around diversity, inclusion, and equity for underrepresented groups in STEM fields. Minorities in STEM (MiSTEM) Stories is a TED Talks inspired event that provides a platform for minority STEM students to share their stories about pursuing STEM disciplines, learning the importance of diversity and inclusion, and developing unique skills and passions.

The event will be on Wednesday, March 3rd, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm EST on Bluejeans Events, with the following agenda:

 

6:00 - 6:15 p.m. –  Introduction of the event and GT SWE, GT-SHPE, and GTSBE
6:15 - 6:45 p.m. –  Stories from GT minority STEM students
6:45 - 6:50 p.m. –  Transition to Panel Discussion
6:50 - 7:20 p.m. – Panel Discussion with GT Alumni & Minority Leaders in STEM fields
7:20 - 7:30 p.m. – Prize Raffle and Wrap Up
