"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” This African proverb has come to life in the form of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Officially launched by the African Union on January 1, 2021, the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) stands to be the world’s largest continental free trade area connecting the African continent’s 55 countries—a combined GDP rivaling that of India.
We invite you to join the Honorable Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, current and fourth term Member of Parliament, Ghana, in an engaging discussion about how AfCFTA will address the pressing need to strengthen economic integration in the African continent. Moderating the conversation will be Sena Dzakuma, Executive Board Chair of the Council Young Leaders Executive Board Chair.
How will AfCFTA reduce barriers to trade and increase economic prospects for over 1.3 billion people on the African continent? As COVID-19 continues to affect economies globally, how will AfCFTA respond?
COMPLIMENTARY AND OPEN TO ALL.
