Kristie MacrakisKristie Macrakis, professor and director of graduate studies in the School of History and Sociology, has been named to the 2021-2022 class of Distinguished Lecturers by Sigma Xi, a prestigious science research honor society that counts numerous Nobel laureates as members.
“I’m thrilled that Dr. Macrakis has received this well-deserved honor," said School of History and Sociology Chair Eric Schatzberg. "She has a knack for picking research topics that are both intellectually challenging and exciting to the general public.”
