There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. The STEM and Education committee is hosting a virtual panel for Coleman Middle School’s 8th grade engineering class and needs volunteers who would like to share any research, internship, or school experience with the students. You would talk about your experience in STEM and what it means to be an engineer. The online panel is Monday Feb. 22 from 1-2 p.m. to accommodate the students’ class time. Given the time constraint, only five students will be selected to speak at the panel. The goal is to create an academically diverse panel that embodies STEM. Selected attendees will be contacted with additional details about the event.
