There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Functionally the new site is identical to the old one. webteam@gatech.edu

TOM:Georgia Tech invites you to participate in our annual Makeathon from March 12-14! This year, in the interest of safety, the Makeathon will be held virtually.
The Makeathon will have teams of 5-7 Makers (people from any major interested in creating assistive technology) that help their Need-Knower (a person with a disability that gives the makers an idea of what they can work on) to create an affordable and open-source solution for the need knower's challenges.
Click here to apply! All members of the Georgia Tech community are welcome to participate. The application will close on February 11.
Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) is part of a global movement working to develop affordable solutions to neglected challenges of people living with disabilities, the elderly, and the poor. TOM:GT achieves this mission through an annual makeathon. Teams get paired up with local members of the Atlanta community and work to create an innovative solution for their needs.
Join for the chance to be part of a global movement to help over 250 million of the most neglected members of society live a better life.
Feel free to email us back at georgiatech@tomglobal.org with any questions! We can’t wait to see all of you there!
