There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Each year, the University System of Georgia (USG) honors outstanding teachers and departments from its 26 member institutions with Regents Awards. Of the nine awards presented for Fiscal Year 2021, Georgia Tech took home two.
The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) won the Teaching Excellence Award for Department or Program, and School of Physics Interim Chair and Professor Michael Schatz was the unanimous choice for the Award for Excellence in Online Teaching.
