Students Participate in "Building Memories" Podcast

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Working with Dr. Todd Michney, students with the "Building Memories" podcast completed a podcast about the 1960 English Avenue school bombing and its significance, featuring interviews with longtime residents including Georgia State Rep. "Able" Mable Thomas:  https://leading-edge.iac.gatech.edu/building-memories/english-avenue-elementary/.  "Building Memories" was started by former Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts Dean Jacqueline Royster in 2018.  This podcast represents the final episode of the series, which was made possible with funding from the Edna Wardlaw Charitable Trust.
