In Georgia, Buffeted by Hurricanes and Drought, Climate Change Is on the Ballot

There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Just as Covid-19 doesn’t care whether anyone wears a mask, climate change unfolds in spite of political rhetoric. This Inside Climate News story examines the climate policy proposals from all four U.S. Senate candidates in Georgia prior to the Jan. 5 runoff election, and also includes comments from representatives of the Georgia Climate Project. Georgia Tech is a partner in the Project along with eight other state universities and colleges.
