Abstract: The objective of this research is to develop an intelligent imaging system that captures only task-related useful information at the highest quality while being bandwidth efficient. This is achieved by re-sampling of the input space driven by a high-level task which leads to improved performance on the task accuracy compared to the bandwidth.
