On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Professor Ellen Ernst Kossek will discuss "Work-Life Boundaries and Women in Academic STEM: COVID-19's Wake-Up Call for Career Equality".

Ellen Ernst Kossek (Ph.D., Yale University) is the Basil S. Turner Professor at Purdue University's Krannert School of Management and the first elected President of the WorkFamily Researchers Network. Dr. Kossek studies how worklife boundaries and employment practices affect women's careers. Her research appears in top academic and management journals. She recently led the writing of a commissioned report for the National Academies of Science on the effects of COVID-19 for Women in Academic Science. Dr. Kossek is an elected Fellow of the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and the American Psychological Association. Her numerous awards include the Work- Life Legacy Award; the Ellen Galinsky Generative Researcher Award; and the Sage Scholarly achievement award from the Academy of Management's Gender and Diversity in Organizations Division.
