In this workshop sponsored by the Office of Faculty Professional Development, Kyriaki Kalaitzidou, associate chair for Faculty Development and Rae S. and Frank H. Neely Professor in Mechanical Engineering, will share strategies for selecting lab and research team members. When it comes to recruiting a new lab member there is no “one size fits all.” However, there are strategies to follow or avoid depending on your philosophy as PI and the culture you want in your lab or research team.
