There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. In this workshop sponsored by the Office of Faculty Professional Development, Kyriaki Kalaitzidou, associate chair for Faculty Development and Rae S. and Frank H. Neely Professor in Mechanical Engineering, will share strategies for selecting lab and research team members. When it comes to recruiting a new lab member there is no “one size fits all.” However, there are strategies to follow or avoid depending on your philosophy as PI and the culture you want in your lab or research team.
