There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. No new content can be created during this time, but all material in the system as of the beginning of the freeze will be migrated to the new platform, including users and groups. Ludwig van Beethoven was a classical-era composer with iconic piano works such as Für Elise, Pathetique, and many beautiful pieces. December 2020 marks his 250th birthday and many musical organizations around the world, including PianoForte, are hosting virtual concerts in his honor!
Throughout this month, we are seeking submissions of GT pianists performing a Beethoven composition in lieu of releasing a theme to follow. You can choose from any Beethoven work and may also collaborate with other musicians of any instrument! At the end of the month, PianoForte will create a compilation of all our community’s performances and release it to our YouTube channel as a Premiere concert.
