Tony Harding, a graduating Ph.D. student in the School of Economics has accepted a Postdoctoral Fellowship position at Harvard University. His research focuses on climate and energy economics, with a focus on the impact of innovative technologies. 

Harding will join the Keith Group, working with Dr. David Keith at the intersection of climate science and technology, especially on the science and public policy of solar geoengineering.

Keith is a physics professor at Harvard’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a public policy professor at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Harding focuses on climate and energy economics, with a focus on the impact of innovative technologies.

He will be working on an economic analysis to quantify the value of information that reduces uncertainty about solar geoengineering’s risks or efficacy.

“I’m excited and privileged to have the opportunity to work alongside researchers at the top of their respective fields on one of the most pressing challenges of our time,” Harding said.

Harding, who will graduate on December 12, 2020, will start at Harvard in January 2021.
