Jerome Meisel has been awarded a Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellowship for 2010-11. Dr. Meisel is a part-time faculty member in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech.
Dr. Meisel will spend four weeks this spring at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. His fellowship will support his work in the area of plug-in hybrid-electric vehicle powertrains. During his stay, which is scheduled for April 28-May 30, he will also present seminars at Imperial College in London, Cranfield University in Cranfield-Bedfordshire, and at Lotus Engineering in Hethel-Norwich.
The purpose of the Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellowship program is to enable and strengthen international relations and networking in key areas of engineering higher education.
