Abstract: The growing complexity of modern wireless communication networks, coupled with the increasingly diverse service requirements, challenges state-of-the-art wireless design methodology. The objective of this research is to build an intelligent wireless network, where it can learn from the data and determine the best policy by itself. In the physical layer, deep learning methods are employed to build robust wireless communication systems, where various effects of the wireless channels can be addressed in a data-driven way. In the medium access control (MAC) layer, distributed resource allocation schemes are developed to satisfy the diverse quality of service (QoS) for vehicular communications.
