There is now a CONTENT FREEZE for Mercury while we switch to a new platform. It began on Friday, March 10 at 6pm and will end on Wednesday, March 15 at noon. Georgia Tech's CEISMC STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Workshops are workshops for students in 9th through 12th grade. STEAM Workshops encourages students to study and pursue a career in the STEAM fields by exposing them to many different topics of science and engineering along with technology. Into the Storm

Participants will learn all about how meteorologists analyze and forecast a variety of extreme weather events, focusing on low-pressure systems, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, and tornadoes. Participants will also learn how extreme weather will change with climate as well as how weather events are portrayed in pop culture.

Requirements: Laptop or Computer, (Windows, Mac, or Chromebook), internet access, and headphones
